- The compiled assemblies, if you have them outside the solution
- Any known problems, upcoming migrations or deadlines
- A person who knows how the business uses the system, for a short conversation
The approach, in practice
The Health Check uses the same method as our full recoveries: get the source back, write down what it does today, and prove it. In one recovery of a lost integration that had run for years, that process found twenty defects, seven of them silent failures that dropped or corrupted data and reported success.
Questions
How much does it cost?
It's a fixed price, quoted after a short free call, based on how many components you have and how much source is missing. You'll know the price before we start.
Can you assess code when the source is gone?
In most cases, yes. We decompile the compiled assembly and reconstruct readable source. Results vary with how the assembly was built, and we'll tell you what to expect during the consult.
Will you change anything in our production system?
No. The Health Check is read-only. Nothing changes in production without your approval.
Do we have to hire you for the fixes?
No. The report and plan are yours to use however you choose.

Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (online and on-premises) and Dataverse.
